A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made that actually stuck

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. performance got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 8 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether glad stayed easy. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I am curious whether backend still feels good next month.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
