I tried doing backend the boring way and it worked in Mexico City
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where ux stopped feeling new.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether boring stayed easy.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The 6-minute rule is underrated.

That last line is excellent. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the corner shop.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The first week version is even more interesting.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink backend. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.
